About Us

The Company was founded by Kurt Dieter Wostenfeldt in 1969 (Spatz Tool & Die specializing in 3D Engraving) later becoming the DITA Group of companies on the 8th May 1970. The Dita Group is a family owned & run business. The operations began in Opherton near Booysens, we purchased our first industrial property in 1980 in Devland a new industrial area South West of Johannesburg Soweto.

The factory was purposely built for the Thermal Plastic Injection Moulding and Tool & Die Making industry, the factory’s construction was completed in 1982 and subsequently bought the industrial property adjacent in 2000 to allow for further expansion. Most of the staff were there from day one although several members have retired to date and we hold family values high so have replaced staff with children and grandchildren of the first employees.

Dita Group operates a fully equipped plastic injection moulding facility with 18 injection moulding machines from 20 – 350 tons, fully equipped tool and dye making workshop, CAD aided product development and mould design.
